Soap Care
To get the longest life from your handmade soap, keep it dry between uses. After each wash, place it on a soap dish or draining rack that allows water to run off and air to circulate freely—avoid letting it sit in a puddle of water. Handmade soaps contain natural glycerin, which makes them wonderfully moisturizing but also more prone to softening if left in standing water. Store unused bars in a cool, dry place, ideally in a breathable container or paper bag. With proper care, your natural handmade soap will last longer and continue to provide a luxurious, skin-nourishing lather every time you use it.
